65 mL, low chrome, hardened steel grinding vial set. Grinding vial body and cap liner are made of hardened tool steel. Grinding balls are made of type 52-100 steel.

Ideal for grinding hard, brittle samples to an analytical fineness in the 8000M Mixer/Mill® and 8000D Dual Mixer/Mill® for low chrome applications.
Ideal for blending powders and mixing emulsions.
High durability and efficiency with moderate resistance to abrasion. Suitable for slurry grinding.
Typical composition: Major Element – Fe. Minor Elements – Cr, Si, Mn, C.

Vial is 2 ¼ in.diameter x 3 in. long (5.7 cm x 7.62 cm). Set includes a screw-on cap with O-ring, two ½ in (12.7 mm) and four ¼ in.(6.35 mm) steel balls.
